Face – Mask – Face (You and I)
Throughout my work in makeup, I have come to realize that — much like layers of makeup — every face is a "mask," concealing a deeply personal world of emotions: from joy and pain to hope and dreams. Beyond acrylic, this work incorporates straw, pepper, and shellac — materials rooted in everyday Vietnamese life, yet rich in symbolic meaning tied to womanhood.
